What is the best Kelvin for Grow Lights?

Various types of light, including sunlight, comes in several different colours. Those colours are measured in Kelvin. Bulbs that have a Kelvin of 6500 best mimic natural daylight. To achieve the best results in hydroponics, the right spectrum must be provided during the right stage.

How To Choose The Right Grow Light Colour

LED grow lights are regarded as efficient for a variety of reasons. One of the advantages is they can be customised to provide plants with the exact colours they need while removing the ones they don’t need. LED grow lights generate very little heat and have lower running costs when compared to other grow lights.

Growing under fluorescent and HID (high-pressure sodium & metal halide) lights is quite different from growing under LED lights. These “traditional” grow lights emit a wide spectrum of light, whereas LED lights tend to have a more focused spectrum. The light emitted by fluorescent or HID grow lights has either a bright daylight appearance or a slight yellowish tint.
